This is a detailed shot of the north eastern corner of the , which stands in Hyde Park South. The building was designed by Bruce Dellit in the Art Deco architectural style and completed in 1934. The sculptures that adorn the building were created by Rayner Hoff, who also created the powerful “Sacrifice” sculpture inside. It was built as a memorial to the Australian Imperial Force of World War I and is the focus of commemoration ceremonies on Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.
